Welcome to First Christian Church, Columbus, MS. We are looking forward to connecting with you and are hopeful that you will feel welcome here. If there is any way that myself or the church can minister to you or your family, please let me know. We are making changes at FCC and focusing on community outreach to make a difference, one at a time. We definitely need your help in being the hands and feet of Jesus. Please join us in this great work!
We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and correction in righteousness. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God; that He lived in the flesh as a man, yet without sin. Jesus died on the cross as a testimony of God’s love and He is alive forevermore, gaining victory over sin, death, and the grave. We believe that Jesus commissioned and empowered the church to preach the gospel message to all nationalities and to baptize those who believe in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are to make disciples by teaching all that Jesus has instructed in scripture. We believe that Jesus is coming again, just as He promised, and will establish His everlasting kingdom and dominion.
I am 32 years old and from Columbus, MS. I grew up in the church but never fully gave my heart and life to Jesus until my mid 20’s. I am passionate about Jesus and know my life’s purpose is to take as many people with me to Heaven as possible. I have been to Honduras as a missionary and teacher of young students. While I was there, I realized that teenagers were my favorite place to be. Doing life with them. Teaching them, helping them discover their purpose and who they are in Christ. My hearts desire is to continue on that journey, encouraging, equipping, leading, and teaching our youth in the ways of the Lord and following a path of being who God has called them to be.
